Gaugin Exhibit Through April 25th, 2012 SAM Fourth Floor Gallery

This is an extensive museum exhibition devoted to Paul Gauguin founder of the Primitivism Impressionistic art movements of the early 1900's. Using subtle shades of primary colors and overly exaggerated body proportions Gauguin spent time living and painting the cultures of the South Pacific Polynesia islands.
